HALLOWEEN IS COMING! We Ridgecats are going to have a fabulous night together celebrating this holiday with costume contest, fortune telling, magical pumpkins and SO MUCH MORE. This will be an extremely exciting party that for sure you cannot miss, especially when we have such a lovely witch to be the host. Beware the witch in a strange room...and who also happens to be covered in cats eyeballing you all the time. She's got a broom that spits bats and hurls thunderbolts too, not to mention a mysterious head that lives in that glass ball O_o. Too bad it's a little shy at the moment. Come get your fortune told (if you dare...) and explore the other attractions on display during Halloween Night on 31st August.P.S. I'll be hosting. Yes, yes you heard me right...a witch hosting a party. But no worries I won't serve you newts' eyes or whatever it is that usually goes into that boiling pot of goo. *Grins*

Since everyone is pretty busy recently and is unable to contribute much to the blog, let me show you guys different AVs you can create in secondlife. Note that some of these items are NOT free.
Gothic Style
For this, I mixed some tuxedos and dark elf skin to form a common "goth-vamp" look, without the fangs. Of course, a cane is always needed to pimp myself up a little, teehee.
Punk Style
Heavy tattoos and spiked boots with shades and cigarette, tada, im all "punked". Notice I am wearing female pants ( for the tight fit effect, if you are too lazy to edit like me ). So even if you are a male avatar, IT IS ALRIGHT to collect female items! You will never know when you will wear them.
Undead Style
Unkempt hair, "dark lord" skin, glowing red eyes, I am pretty much set to be an undead. There are definitely better clothings than the trenchcoat but I just couldnt find it for now hehe...
Dragon Ballz??
Found this free (not really sure) dragon ball hairstyle at Lag designs <- (click for SURL, make sure SL is logged in and you will get a teleport). Since I do not have orange clothes, I simply put on some random leather and bandage clothings to have some "battle" look. The metal eye patch (although abit small to see in the pic.) seems to be a pretty nice fit on the avatar too.
Ninja Style
My final set is one of the more popular ones. This whole set is not free and can be bought at Discord for L$250 (which is NOT expensive compared to most full outfit sets sold elsewhere). This set comes with typing AO (animation overwriter - replaces your old-basic animations with some cool new ones). The overall AO comes as a seperate package for L$250 too, can be bought from the same place.

Hey guys!!!
Last Saturday there was a big event on NUS Second Life, do you remember? I know u remember;)
...And that is: "80'S ROCK".
Hope you did enjoy the party. To those who missed it, don't worry, coz I'm going to give you a bit update of what happened that day, in addition, there will be an even BIGGER event waiting for you next Oct 31st. And now, here are some photos:

Yup they sure do. Look at the way they cling to me! You can get the whole set from a lucky chair at Pink Fuel (including one more kitten that sits oh-so-cutely on your head). For all those who have no idea what a lucky chair is, it's a device that gives out free items to avatars who's first initial coincides with the letter displayed on the chair. For example, I have to keep a lookout for A's. The letters typically change once every 3, 5, 10, 20, or (horror of horrors!) 30 minutes. Thank god this kitty lucky chair is in middle ground - 10min. Of course, you got to actually SIT on the chair to claim your prize, that's why it's a chair lol... If it's a board, just click it. But...I'm getting ahead of myself here.The outfit is a picks' reward from Freesoul. It's no longer available though, coz the gift changes every week. But they're stuff is always gorgeous! How this picks reward works is you teleport to the shop and right-click on your av and choose profile, then click the picks tab. Finally just click add and voila! It takes about 24-48hours before your name is registered though, so you have to wait a bit more before getting your gift. Once the time is up, teleport back to the shop and click on the board that says "picks reward " or something similar. Simple no? Other great shops to add to your picks are Inimitably Design and LVS & Co. (this picks reward gift changes once every month).

Hey fellow ridgecats,
It's another of our theme parties rocking the house this Saturday! So why not take a break from school work and join us for a night of partying and fun at our very own NUS Dancefloor again.
The theme is 80s rock, so come in cool clothes and that rocker attitude of yours. We look forward to seeing you.
Oh yes, there is a Best Dressed Rocker Contest too, 300Ls each for both Male and Female winners.
Remember, it's 18th October (Sat), 10-12pm @ Dancefloor.
