Word was going around that FASS(Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) is having a summer school which involves Second Life, on their website and the Exco was eventually informed of the plan to welcome and host them during their 6 weeks summer programme in Singapore.

NUS Second Life was the perfect melting pot for the 50 prestigious students(IARU) from all over the world to get started, to know each other, to learn about each other's diverse cultures prior to their arrival in Singapore come late June. And what better way to start the summer rolling by having a Welcome Summer '09 party inworld at our dancefloor?!Too bad if you missed it!

Did you see those flipping dolphins? Yes, we have not 1 but 4 for to hangout with everyone, and you can ride on them too! I put on my wetsuit and lugged the tank behind me and started riding them, woo hoo... it was too much fun, you should try it too!

The RidgeCats and some of the other regular Singaporeans were elated at the new place and were the first to rush there, happily basking in the sun, riding the dolphins, floating around... and chill out music streaming in the background, just like how you would do it at the regular beach resort! Looks like you guys will get to meet some of the best crowd of people that will know how to have fun! I got the proof to show you!

To the left of the gazebo, there is also a tree stump where we placed some very fun swings for you guys to chill out in... some quiet time for small groups or couple to gather thoughts and chat(yes, thats one of the 4 dolphins flipping past in the back)!
