The long awaited party finally rolled out with success!
First the buildup. The venue for the Halloween Party is built from scratch mostly by Eight Yarrowroot, the organiser for this event.

Basically, most of the people who joined the contest will win some lindens as the prize money is split evenly among those who managed to secure at least 1 vote.

The Best Dressed for the Night!! The two winners!
A group picture was taken to signify an end to the event. It might sounds simple. Simply face the front, don't move and snap! You have it! But the truth is you will need much more than that. Its a group effort. Discipline and patience is needed. Everyone have to gather quickly, face the front and stop typing (if your typing animation is on) and moving (this includes your head!). But we managed to take a picture in the end. =) Coz we can! Keep up the goodwork!

@ Mini Revamp Completed!
Okay guys, after several weeks of frustrating battle against htmls divs br and so on, I finally managed to center the blog and thus completed the little mini revamp that i promised.
Might be a simple task to some but its definitely a difficult one for me who last touched basic html since secondary school. First of all, I had to get used to the codes i am seeing. Days were spent studying the codes, which values affect what. Then on, changing the values to input my own preferred styles for the blog.
Centering the blog is hard for me. Initially, I found several codes online that can be applied to my existing code to center the blog but none of them works. Probably something missing here and there but of course I wouldn't know. I decided to start on a new template from dreamweaver. At first, it worked quite well, managed to center it. But as time passed, I realised theres some error which causes the blog to work well for Internet Explorer but failed for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Had to keep changing the template till I managed to find one that is able to work on all three browsers. Some mini changes here and there.
I can only imagine how its like to start on a zero platform since mine started with something already there, just need some formatting. Thanks to the previous EXCO team on this. =)

Do drop me a message at our chit chat section should you find any errors regarding the blog. I tested this blog with the three browsers, Google Chrome 3, Mozilla Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer 8. It should work fine.

A party is coming up again! This time we gonna have a Mid Autumn Festival and Halloween Party!
Some of us have missed the mini Mid Autumn gathering we had at NUS Second Life, so here's another chance for you people to come along and grab your free lanterns.
We will also be handing out gifts (other than lanterns of course) for those who attend the party!
And we will have a live DJ who will be waking up the dead from 10pm till midnight. DJ Zelleth!

While backing up my harddisk drives, I came across this folder with pictures and videos of Second Life some time back. These files bring back quite alot of memories. We had a wonderful night that day.
It was a day of Deepavali, Festival of Light.
The Party and Mini Contest are scheduled to start at 11pm.
Snow and I came early to sandbox to rezz our party place.
Hours of rezzing, arranging furniture, putting up signboards finally paid off.
Our venue looks fantastic =D
Message sent via RidgeCat channel at 10pm.
"Dear NUS RidgeCats! I will be holding a mini contest tonight at 11pm! Best dressed will get prizes! Theme will be Deepavali. Winner gets 200L while second and third place gets 100L and 50L respectively. Hope to see you guys here at NUS Sandbox! Happy Deepavali!!"
Fellow RidgeCat members start to pour in. Some started to explore the house while others take up their seat at the sofa.
Very soon, we started to party, dance and have fun at the balcony!
